Racial Justice Symposium

The Racial Justice Symposium is a one-day symposium on April 1 from 9 am - 5 pm. 

This is an opportunity for racialized and indigenous students to build skills through workshops, panel discussions, and activities.

Workshop Topics Include:

  • Indigenizing the Academy 
  • Gentrification and Environmental Racism 
  • Creative Resistance: Art Activism 
  • Self Care 
  • Globalization 
  • Survivor Support 
  • Campaigns 

Presenters Include: 

  • Members of Blck Lives Matter - Toronto 
  • El Jones 
  • Patti Doyle-Bedwell
  • Daniel Paul

The Keynote will take place on Friday, March 31 in Alumni Hall with a reception from 5:30-7pm and the keynote 7-9pm 

*The Racial Justice Symposium is a closed space for racialized and indigenous students.
