The Abstract is your NEW student cafe & community space coming to the Dalhousie Student Union building in Fall of 2025!

Designed to be a comfortable study & hangout space, The Abstract offers a wide variety of comfortable drinks and food for students to have! And if you are a society, The Abstract is a fantastic space for events ranging from trivia nights, board game gatherings, to singing events!

SUGGESTED BiWeekly EVENT Schedule:

We are looking for societies and groups to host events in line with the following schedule. The Abstract is not hosting these events but we would love for societies to book The Abstract to host this event!

WEEK 2

WEEK 1

Monday (2:00 - 4:00): Matinee Monday | Movie

Tuesday (6:00/7:00): Bingo or other Society Programming

Wednesday (7:00): Trivia Society Night

Thursday (6:00 - closing): Music Attraction Night | Karaoke/Band/Jazz/Live Music

Friday: OPEN

Monday: OPEN

Tuesday (3:00 - 8:00): Arts & Crafts Night | Collage | Painting | Sketching

Wednesday (7:00): Trivia Society Night
