DSU Council oversees the operations of the Union. It comprises of the Executive Officers, Faculty Representatives, Community Representatives (e.g. International Students, 2SLGBTQIA+ students), and the student representatives on the Dalhousie Board of Governors.

Council meeting dates for Summer 2026 are listed below. Meetings will be held once per month on Wednesdays and will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams. All DSU members are welcome to attend.

Agendas, reports, and meeting documents are posted the day prior to the meeting. Minutes are posted within five school days of their approval at the following meeting of Council.
