You'll uncover chilling tales of ghosts, spirits, forerunners, and devils, all woven into real Nova Scotian folklore. It’s the perfect way to dive into local history and connect with the eerie side of your new city. It’s perfect for curious new Dal students and brave souls!

New to Dalhousie? Join us for an information session to learn almost all things Indigenous at Dalhousie and other tips. New and returning students are welcomed. Enter for a prize.

Join Two Sailors Bartending as they lead you through a hands-on mocktail workshop showcasing fun and alcohol-free ingredients, all while folks from Dal Human Rights & Equity Services and Student Health Promotion share trivia questions and information on alcohol, consent, and sex.
Learn to create delicious beverages to liven up your mocktail journey. We’ll use easy-to-source ingredients so that you can continue practicing what you learned long after the workshop. This workshop typically costs $50-75 per person but is being offered to New to Dal students for FREE!

All Agricultural Campus students must purchase a ticket through the website as an upper year student would!

As part of Dalhousie's 2025 Pride programming, join us for the second annual Big Gay Film Festival! This year’s feature is But I’m A Cheerleader, screening outdoors on the Studley Quad on Saturday, September 6 at 9 p.m. (dusk). Free and open to all—bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and Pride spirit! Indoor rain location available.

Join us on Sexton Campus for a truly impactful Dal Gives Back event! This is your chance to directly support Adsum for Women & Children, a vital Halifax shelter, by assembling back to school kits for the children living in insecure housing and crafting heartfelt handwritten cards for seniors. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with new friends, build community, and make a difference in your new home from day one.
