This Bystander Intervention Workshop will teach you the skills to intervene, interrupt, or stop sexualized violence, which is especially important during the first 6-8 weeks of the semester when incidents of sexualized violence tend to increase. Learn how to take care of your friends and community and help create a culture that is free of sexualized violence.
Participants will receive a certificate of completion and a blurb to include on their resume/CV. Prizes and refreshments will be provided. Open to all Dalhousie students.

New to Dal and part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community? This social is just for you! Join the DalOUT student society at Glitter Bean Café, a Halifax’s queer-affirming coffeehouse, for a relaxed afternoon of connection, snacks, and great conversation.
Meet fellow first-year queer students, build community, and start your Dal journey feeling seen, supported, and celebrated. After we meet we'll all head over to the evening Drag Show together!

New to Halifax or the first in your family to attend university? Join us for a fun and interactive scavenger hunt designed to help you get comfortable navigating the city and feeling at home.
You’ll explore key spots using public transit, discover local gems, and connect with other first-year students who are also new to Halifax. With fun challenges, prizes, and plenty of chances to ask questions and share experiences, this is the perfect way to start finding your place and your people at Dal.
