Primary Event Organizer
(PEO) Training

Is your society planning to host an event? In order to host an event, at least 1 member of your society must be a Primary Event Organizer (PEO). A PEO is a member of a ratified society who is trained and certified to plan events on behalf of the society. As PEO, you must be present at the event you are organizing as you take full responsibility for the organization of the event.

PEO Training must be taken or renewed every academic year. The ratification period for 2023-2024 begins in May 2023. All returning PEOs will be required to retake PEO Training after May 1st 2023 to be certified for the 2023-24 academic year.

For Winter we are offering the following time slots for PEO Training:

  • January 17th 2024 – 2:00PM – 4:30PM

  • January 31st 2024 – 2:00PM – 4:30PM

  • February 15th 2024 – 2:00PM – 4:30PM

  • March 06th 2024 – 2:00PM – 4:30PM

Anti-Oppression Training

Anti-Oppression Training gives you and your society an opportunity to reflect on your society’s operations and your individual intentions and actions as an executive team. The main goal of Anti-O Training is to provide one of your society executives with the tools and skills necessary to create a welcoming and inclusive space within your organization.
