Transfer Student Ice Cream Trip Social

  • Rowe Management Building 6100 University Ave, Halifax, NS B3H 4R2 Canada (map)

Time: 2PM - 4PM
Location:
Rowe Management Building

Meet fellow transfer students for a fun and relaxed afternoon. We'll start on campus with some icebreakers before heading downtown with Orientation Leaders to enjoy a scoop (on us!) of the iconic Cow's Ice Cream, a Maritime favourite known for its delicious flavours and quirky charm.

Whether you're new to the city or just new to Dalhousie, this casual outing is the perfect opportunity to meet people, explore the waterfront, and build your support network before classes begin.

If you have any accessibility needs for this event, please reach out to orientation@dal.ca.

  • Event Energy Level:
Low Energy (quiet, relaxed, smaller groups)

  • Target Audience:
    Transfer students (undergraduate)

  • Accessible?:
Partially - Initial icebreaker might be talking-based (which may present a challenge if hearing impaired), bussing should be fine, Cow's and navigating the city and harbourfront should be okay (however, not sure about ordering (hearing, visual, dyslexia)) - student leaders will be available to help order if needed
