Dalhousie Chinese Society (DCS)
The Dalhousie Chinese Society (DCS) brings students from different backgrounds together to celebrate Chinese culture, make friends, and build a community that feels like home. We believe that sharing our cultures and learning from one another helps us feel more connected, on campus and beyond.
We celebrate traditions like Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival, and host hands-on activities such as dumpling making and tea tasting. We also hold movie nights, karaoke, trivia, board games, language exchange, and more, giving students a chance to relax, have fun, and get to know each other. Beyond our own events, we collaborate with other student societies to bring different communities together.
Whether you grew up with Chinese culture, are curious to learn more, or simply want to meet new people, you're welcome here. You don't need to speak Chinese or come from a particular background to be part of DCS. Everyone has something to share, and we look forward to getting to know you. We're always here to support you!
