The Dal Chain is a society for students who are interested in Supply Chain and Logistics (SCL) as a major or potential career. Our mission is to provide students who are interested in SCL with opportunities for learning, networking, and development. As well as creating a community for students to feel comfortable to meet new people and explore the industry of supply chain and logistics. Our goal is to gain representation in the Dalhousie community for supply chain and logistics as an emerging field of study and work.
Our core values are EDIR, Education, Collaboration, Sustainability, and Community. Our principles are as follows:
Student driven club: we act in the best interest of our members
Open to all: Any student, in any year and any program at Dalhousie/kings can join
Non-commitment: Learning is not learning if it is forced - members are not required to attend meetings but will attend those in which they are interested in.
We welcome new ideas and any students who are interested in Supply Chain and Logistics, or would like to meet new people!
