The Dalhousie Sailing Team (DST) is a student-run, Tier 1 competitive club representing Dalhousie in the Canadian Inter-Collegiate Sailing Association (CICSA). We run practices out of RNSYS and the Waegwoltic Club, and the primary season runs from September through early November. There are four main programs that offer opportunities for students to get involved with sailing:
- Varsity Dinghy - high level collegiate racing in 420s
- Junior Varsity - a team designed for sailors with previous experience who want to develop their racing skills
- Competitive Keelboat - Advanced racing and skill development in J22s at national and international regattas
- Recreational Program - Introductory, on-the-water learning experiences for novice sailors.
