Force Seven Sailing is a Dalhousie student design team created in collaboration with the Memorial University of Newfoundland. We will be competing in the SuMoth competition, which involves designing, building, testing and racing a foiling Moth class sailboat. SuMoth is a rapidly growing international competition with focuses on sustainability and inclusion. We are looking for students who are interested in engineering, aeronautics and sailing to join our team.

We are the Dalhousie Melee Society (DMS) and we host weekly Super Smash Bros. Melee video game tournaments on Dal campus! Dalhousie Squash Club

The Dalhousie Squash Club (DSC) is a great place to meet other squash enthusiasts and work on improving your game. Membership in the DSC is free and is open to anyone with access to the Dalplex. We run weekly drop-in nights, fun tournaments, the Dalhousie Open, social events, and coaching clinics. If you are new to the game, or and experienced squash player, there is something for everyone in Dalhousie Squash Club.

The DRC promotes organized play for casual and competitive players of the sport outside of intramurals. DalDance Society

DalDance offers high-quality recreational dance practices for dancers of every skill level! We offer a variety of styles of dance, including classical dance (tap, jazz, ballet, etc.) and some additional classes in street styles (hip-hop, heels, etc.). In the Fall term we focus on technique and fun combinations, and in the Winter term we offer a performance opportunity with our annual DalDance recital!

DAL Bhangra

Bhangra is a Punjabi folk dance style originating from Punjab, India that now we have brought to Dalhousie! This is the first time ever that Dalhousie has this society! We currently do performances as well as looking into doing more classes to teach more people this dance form. You don't have to be a Punjabi to join nor have any experience to be a part of Dal Bhangra. We are a tight knit society, almost like a family and have practices often. Dal Knitting Club is a society where all levels of knitters get together to help the Halifax community by knitting items like hats, mittens, dishcloths and more for charities, homeless shelters, and other organizations seeking donations.
