Our team has crafted a one-of-a-kind orientation week experience that is exhilarating and engaging, while ensuring we facilitate a safe and welcoming space for all students. Whether you’re an international student joining Dalhousie from across the world or a Halifax local, we aim to foster fun and inclusive events to help welcome all incoming students into our Dalhousie community.

Sept 3rd - 5th

Thurs & Fri: 9am - 5pm
Saturday: 9am - 2pm

Your O-Week Pass will grant you FULL ACCESS to ALL O-Week events and allow you to use your reserved ticket to see The Beaches at DalFest!!

Visit the Dalhousie Student Union Building at 6136 University Avenue, between 9 AM - 5 PM on Thursday & Friday or between 9 AM - 2 PM on Saturday to pick up your O-Week Access Pass and Tote!

Don’t miss this essential first step:

All new undergraduate students should complete Dal’s New Student Online Orientation Course.

Before you dive into life at Dal, we’ve got something to help you hit the ground running. All new students are expected to complete this fun and super useful online course—it’s packed with quick videos, easy quizzes, and everything you need to know about classes, campus life, and where to find support.

Complete the course by Aug 28 with 80%+ on ALL 5 quizzes for a chance to win 1 of 2 iPad Airs!
