Dalhousie Golf Club

We organize competitive golf activities for the Dalhousie student body and are open to both men and women interested in attending biweekly golf practices as well as partaking in Atlantic Canada Collegiate Golf Association tournaments. We plan to attend three tournaments in Nova Scotia next fall season. Dalhousie Arm Wrestling Club (DAWC)

Our society aims to unite individuals from diverse backgrounds in a common pursuit—arm wrestling, a timeless symbol of strength. Across centuries and continents, arm wrestling has proven to be more than just a sport; it's a global tradition. Our mission is to infuse fun and exercise into the daily lives of students, honing both strength and technique. Experienced members will mentor newcomers through casual bouts, eventually progressing to regular competitive matches one members become sufficiently settled into the club. By integrating sport into daily life, we aim to alleviate the stressors of student life. This society provides a unique avenue for members to connect, strengthen friendships, and enjoy the myriad benefits of arm wrestling.

Dalhousie Formula Society of Automotive Engineers (Dalhousie FSAE)

Dalhousie Formula SAE designs, builds, and races a small formula-style race
car, with a focus on developing students engineering skills and technologies.
The team transitioned to an electric drivetrain in 2022.

This allows student members to promote sustainable transportation and advance
the future of mobility while actively gaining the necessary skills to easily
integrate into the transitioning automotive industry upon graduation.

The team takes part in the international Formula SAE design competition, which
includes static events such as design judging, business cases, and cost
analysis, as well as dynamic events where team members races in the vehicle
against other universities in a variety of disciplines. Dalhousie students of any
background (engineering, business, arts, etc.) have a place in our society
working to design, build, and promote the car and team while learning key
interpersonal and hands on skills in a team-based environment.
