With a focus on amplifying the voices and opportunities of African Canadian students, we are deeply committed to bridging the cultural and informational divide between the legal sphere and the African Nova Scotian community.

Each year, our philanthropic initiatives come to life through an annual Christmas fundraiser, where we work diligently to provide holiday gifts to the children of incarcerated parents. This effort not only brings a spark of joy to these young lives but also fortifies the connective tissue within our communities. Furthermore, our organization commemorates Black History Month with a dynamic speaker series hosted within the law school. This event features influential thought leaders in the legal field who provide invaluable insights and engage in critical discussions that enrich our understanding of law through the lens of African Canadian history and experiences.

Through these initiatives and more, our organization plays an instrumental role in cultivating a sense of community and collegiality among our members while making meaningful contributions to the African Nova Scotian community.

Every year we work towards holding a gala with the undergraduate psychology society to present the earnings with have raised for our chosen charity. It is a fun event for both students and faculty to share their love for neuroscience!

We also have a spot for everyone as we have both roles that are thoroughly involved roles that don't require responsibility but still allow individuals to participate in our events.
We wish that everyone with an interest in neuroscience comes and shares their passion with the rest of us this year!
