Dalhousie Judo Club
Judo was derived from Ju Jutsu in the late 1800’s as a way to develop the youth of Japan. Not only is Judo a physical activity and a sport, but its principles of “mutual welfare and benefit” and “maximum efficiency” can be applied to one’s life outside of the dojo.

The Dalhousie Muslim Student Association (DMSA) serves as a vital hub for Muslim students at Dalhousie University, fostering a sense of community, support, and engagement within the student body. At its core, DMSA aims to provide a platform where students can connect with one another, celebrate their cultural and religious identities, and address issues relevant to the Muslim community on campus. Members of DMSA are actively involved in organizing events such as Islamic awareness weeks, cultural celebrations, community service projects, and educational seminars. They also play a crucial role in supporting fellow students, offering mentorship, academic assistance, and a sense of belonging.
