The purpose of the Chapter is to develop and maintain a vibrant Christian law student presence on campus by serving as a spiritual resource for students in the Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University. The Chapter seeks to serve the interests of its members by providing an environment for the exploration of faith issues arising from the study of law.

The Chapter also seeks to assist students who want to start and grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ, who want to be supported in their faith, to develop ministry and leadership skills, and to minister to their peers. It is predominantly a group of Christian law students who meet together regularly to support and encourage one another, but non-Christian and/or non-religious students are also welcome to meet with us and partake in respectful discussions on the intersection of the Christian faith with the practice of law.

We keep a tight knit community and inform students on volunteering, job and other university opportunities. We welcome all students no matter where they are from to become a part of our extended family. International students cant always go home for the weekend, so we like to provide a sense of comfort for students, a home away from home. Our events consist of potlucks, ski trips, game nights, karaoke, ice skating and more!

We, the Dalhousie Egyptian Society aim to unite Egyptians at Dalhousie, provide them with a home abroad, and showcase our Egyptian Culture. The society started in Fall 2019 by a senior political science student who was interested in bringing the Egyptian community together and in introducing Egyptian and Middle Eastern culture to students who have never had the experience. Four years later, our current executive and council team still maintain the same values and goals that motivated the founders.

Our society helps to give space for students to relax when the semester gets heavy, and since Omanis are a minority this society lets them feel a sense of community.

Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO)
CCO is the Catholic Community at Dalhousie! We are a group of people who are on all different levels faith! We are a space where you can both explore and ask questions about the Christian faith and grow deeper in your personal faith in community.
We run small-group faith studies, host large-group events like retreats and prayer nights, and there are almost always people hanging out on the 3rd floor of the SUB studying, playing games or just chatting.

Catholic Christian Outreach (CCO) is an organization created to help students to learn more about God, and how to form a personal relationship with Him. We will be hosting book studies throughout each semester that help achieve this goal. The 5 books are Discovery, Source, Growth, Trust, and Commission. While the first 4 studies are a semester in length (either Fall or Winter), Commission will be completed over both the Fall and Winter semesters.
CCO Dal is also a great place to meet new people! we provide a safe and open environment, meeting students where they're at in life. We know how tough life can be as a student, and we strive to make a community that can help support each other, as we all try to navigate this chapter of our lives.
Events such as a Fall Retreat, Summits (Adoration nights), Winter and Spring Formal, along with other fun events! Information for each event will be posted on our Instagram page, as well as advertised around the SUB building. All are welcome to join in on any of our events!
