Dalhousie Judo Club

Judo was derived from Ju Jutsu in the late 1800’s as a way to develop the youth of Japan. Not only is Judo a physical activity and a sport, but its principles of “mutual welfare and benefit” and “maximum efficiency” can be applied to one’s life outside of the dojo.

Our vision for DalMUN is to create a solid society that lasts beyond 2023-2024. Competitive MUN teams across the continent are able to engage in high quality debate at conferences throughout the year, and gain recognition through awards which they casocn put onto their CV. We hope to create opportunities like this for current and future Dalhousie students.

This is achieved through the Schooner Newsletter which is published with an overarching goal of highlighting the incredibly talented students within the society and giving a glimpse into the society for our industry partners and connections.
