Dalhousie Curling Club Society
Join the Tigers!!!
The Dalhousie Curling Society provides curlers with any level of curling experience an opportunity to get on the ice and improve their skills with other members of the Dalhousie community.
Competitive men's and women's teams will be selected through a series of tryouts each year in the fall to represent Dalhousie University at the Atlantic University Sport Championship and U SPORTS Championship (national) events. We encourage all members (on the team or not) to join the curling intramurals because practice makes perfect!!

Our mission is to create an environment where individuals of all running abilities can support one another and share their love for running! Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just starting out, our club is dedicated to promoting an inclusive atmosphere for all. Tau Lambda Xi Sorority is local to Halifax and was founded back in 2017. We recruit female identifying individuals from Dalhousie, and other universities surrounding the HRM! Dalhousie Squash Club
The Dalhousie Squash Club (DSC) is a great place to meet other squash enthusiasts and work on improving your game. Membership in the DSC is free and is open to anyone with access to the Dalplex. We run weekly drop-in nights, fun tournaments, the Dalhousie Open, social events, and coaching clinics. If you are new to the game, or and experienced squash player, there is something for everyone in Dalhousie Squash Club.
Our society aims to get students and community members involved in the game of squash. We go beyond the game to connect students in a learning and collegial atmosphere. Student members attend weekly drop-in nights, play on our league teams and participate in tournaments.
We are important as a club to introduce people to the game we love. It is also an opportunity for people to get active and meet new people.

Dalhousie/King's Crafting Society
Our goal is to create a safe space for students to craft and meet others who craft! We plan to organize crafting sessions, workshops, and field trips to craft stores/fairs. Whether you are a seasoned crafter or interested in starting a new hobby, we would love for you to join us and explore the world of crafts!
Our society invites Dalhousie and Kings students to craft together and try out new crafting opportunities. In addition to our bi-weekly crafting sessions we plan to host a variety of crafting workshops to learn new skills, as well as field trips to local crafting stores and crafting markets so that our members can both explore the world of crafting and learn more about local creators and shops. We aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space for both avid crafters and those who've never tried before to come together and destress and connect with other crafters and build a community together. This space is open to any student all they need is their willingness to craft or to learn how and a welcoming attitude.

DalDance offers high-quality recreational dance practices for dancers of every skill level! We offer a variety of styles of dance, including classical dance (tap, jazz, ballet, etc.) and some additional classes in street styles (hip-hop, heels, etc.). In the Fall term we focus on technique and fun combinations, and in the Winter term we offer a performance opportunity with our annual DalDance recital!
