Dalhousie University Nursing Society (DUNS)
DUNS serves all undergraduate students of the Dalhousie School of Nursing by
promoting the activities and initiatives of DUNS to foster student camaraderie. The
Nursing Society is a leader and a partner in providing support (academic, social,
emotional, physical, and financial) to nursing students.
DUNS Seeks to create a sense of community and pride for all Dalhousie University nursing students
by providing:
An atmosphere of school spirit among students and faculty;
A safer space for all students to have their voices heard
Student activities accessible to all nursing students;
Peer support accessible to all nursing students; and
Opportunities to engage in advocacy and political action on issues relevant to health
